Raven Ruthe, (pen name), author of a Bleary-Eyed Stranger is a licensed psychotherapist and clinical social worker. She has a Ph.D. in Holistic Health Sciences and for the past twenty-five years has taught Health Psychology Mind-Body connection for a local college. She is a stress management consultant and treats families and individuals and facilitates support groups for people struggling with grief loss and addiction. Raven Ruthe trains employees in Fortune 500 companies teaching them to manage transition and change and cope with stress. She teaches Trauma-Informed Care to clinicians teaching them how to prevent client re-traumatization; a psychological model that supports a staff culture of self-care.
